Let's Go Traveling

I've always enjoyed traveling, especially when it comes to heading off to anywhere abroad. Whether I know the language, customs, or people of a different country matters not. It's simply the fact of heading off to someplace that isn't American.

I first traveled abroad just after completing my senior year of high school and, since then, have been to Europe more times than I can count. It seems that I'm over there just about every other year. I've stayed for extended periods in both Amsterdam and Leipzig, Germany, yet perhaps my fondest memories come from the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic.

One of my favorite vacations was off exploring Prague once again -- spending a month there over the winter holiday. Carp for Christmas is, while somewhat strange by American standards, unique to say the least. I had a great time catching up with old friends, and it was awesome finding new ones as well.

All I can say is that I trust that you too will visit anywhere that Europe has to offer.

Europe Factoid
The historical roots of the European Union lie in the Second World War. The idea of European integration was conceived to prevent such killing and destruction from ever happening again.
