American Adventures

Perhaps of the things that I have most enjoyed over the years was anything having to do with the great outdoors – backpacking, hiking and camping. Although I went far more often when I was younger, I still enjoy a good romp in the wilderness. I have trekked to places such as California’s Yosemite National Park, Michigan’s Isle Royale, Alaska’s Denali National Park and have section-hiked portions of Vermont’s Long Trail, as well as parts of The Appalachian Trail. Perhaps my favorites so far have been Denali and Yosemite, though good times have been had in all the places I’ve been to so far. Hell, I even loved my recent trip to Disney World back in 2002!

American Travels
Exploring this great country of ours is a great way to learn about our nation, see things that can only exist in nature, and meet awesome people--all while having fun! I've picked up hitchhikers on Interstate 70 and spent time with them in Las Vegas, I've camped out under bridges or along the side of a road, and I've seen some of the wonders that this United States has to offer those willing to take but a moment to see. Still though, there are many places on my list that need to be seen before I die ---and they shall be seen!
