2009 Cincinnati Zoo Blooms
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden transformed into
a magnificent explosion of color when Zoo Blooms kicked off this spring.
From April 5-27, the zoo became a virtual palette of artistic color
with a combination of more than 80,000 tulips. As one of only two accredited
botanical gardens in Ohio, the Cincinnati Zoo offers one of the largest
tulip displays in the Midwest. Dubbed “Tulip Mania,” Zoo Blooms also
featured more than one million daffodils, hyacinths, flowering tress, shrubs
and other spring bulbs exploding with color
