So far as I'm concerned, there are only two decent enough hotels in Kinshasa that are worth staying at. One is the Memling Hotel, and the other is the Grand Hotel. Both have there ups and downs, but the Grand has much more of an outside atmosphere to it, especially when one is sitting around the pool enjoying a cold, frosty beer as the sunsets over the city..
