Lagos, Nigeria

An unexpected business trip in November of 2007 saw me jetting off to the African continent to try to close a potential mapping project. That also meant that I had to get seven vaccinations in a matter of one day.

While I didn't have much time to actually visit the countryside, I did manage to spend time in the port city of Lagos. An extremely crowed city with a population approaching 15 million, Lagos was my first visit to a developing country. What an eye-opener!

Still though, the people were friendly, the food was great, and it does a person good to be forced into living conditions so unlike what we're accustomed to here in the United States.
