Abuja, Nigeria
Flying from Lagos found me in the capital city of Abuja, a fairly new city built in the 1970s. Once there, I met with several senators from the African government to discuss a mapping project within their country.
Abuja was planned with wide roads, large buildings, and city services much like our American cities, Still though, during my brief visit there the electric went out several times, leaving us not only in the dark, but without air conditioning as well.
